It has been COERR’s goal to create the safe learning spaces for the vulnerable displaced children, who fled from their home country and resided in 9 border Temporary Shelters, to develop their creativity and adaptability skills. Child Friendly Spaces (CFS) were then established to be children’s safe areas for independently learning, to be well equipped with various kinds of educational material and sports equipment for their learning and play, with the care of our camp-based refugee staff and assistant. The Child Friendly Space (CFS) enhanced children’s proper learning and development that will enable them to live their lives with dignity and creativity and become productive and caring members of their community.
Throughout January 2022, Child Friendly Spaces in eight Temporary Shelters (except Ban Nupo which had been under tight measure and CFS remained closed) had enrolled the number of over 3,000 children and youth beneficiaries.
